Cambio Software is a software research and development center for Cambio Healthcare Systems AB, Sweden, currently with over 300 software engineering professionals in Sri Lanka designing and developing cutting edge Healthcare Solutions using state of the art of technologies to cater to our prestigious clientele.
The position
Cambio has built an organization to deliver our products as a service. We are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who wants to join our IT Infrastructure & Operations team and be part of deploying and improving the infrastructure for what is Sweden's largest electronic health record (EHR).
You will work in a team of experienced professionals driving the major platforms for our customers. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and building the technical infrastructure and IT systems that support our products and services. You will also be responsible for implementing DevOps best practices and collaborating with development teams to improve the software delivery process.
You will be working with designing and improving the services that we provide to the organization. You will also be working on containerizing, automating, maintaining, and supporting our system. In that work you will work closely with our development organizations and our delivery organization.
About you
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have great technical skills and have a keen interest in Infrastructure as code and software development. You enjoy putting together technical solutions with your team as well as developing and coaching the team further in your area of expertise.
You take pride in working together with other to solve problems and improve existing solutions. You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. You are proactive and able to take the initiative to identify areas for improvement. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other teams and stakeholders. You have a strong willingness to learn and stay up to date with the latest technologies and tools in the DevOps space.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes (OpenShift experience is an added advantage), along with containerization tools such as Docker and Podman.
Proven experience in infrastructure automation using frameworks like Ansible, Packer, or similar tools.
Hands‑on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Practical knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools.
Solid understanding of developing automation tools or utilities using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
Experience working in infrastructure development or related technical areas.
Strong communication skills with a high level of collaboration and teamwork.
It's a bonus if you have,
Familiarity with tools such as Artifactory, GitLab, or similar platforms.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Dynatrace.
Knowledge of Java development and databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
Prior experience in containerizing applications or migrating existing applications into container environments
