The position
We are seeking an exceptional Development Manager to join our Research and Development center.
Role Summary
As a Development Manager, your role will involve leading one or more teams of software engineering professionals within a specific unit.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Accountability
End-to-End Ownership: Take full accountability for the overall project, product, and service deliveries within your teams.
Strategic Direction: Define and communicate clear goals, expectations, and priorities to ensure the team remains focused on high-impact outcomes.
Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and address bottlenecks or risks at an early stage to maintain momentum and ensure better quality.
People Management
Talent Pipeline: Lead the full lifecycle of talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, and training.
Professional Growth: Coach team members to reach their full potential by providing regular constructive feedback and recognizing excellence.
Safety & Culture: Foster a culture built on dignity, respect, and fairness, where failures are viewed as learning opportunities rather than setbacks.
Leading by Example: Act as a role model, personifying the leadership principles you advocate for your team.

Agile Mindset: Actively embrace and champion Agile methodologies within your respectable area.
Continuous Improvement: Identify "anti-patterns" and drive necessary organizational changes to improve team productivity and employee wellbeing.

Requirements
Minimum 8 years of industry experience within the software development industry with minimum 3 years of experience in the capacity of any of the roles such as project manager, delivery manager, software engineering manager.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Science, ICT, Engineering, or Management, along with substantial post-qualification experience in the software engineering domain.
Exposure in driving leadership in Agile way of working and culture.
Ability in leading people and coaching to build high-performing teams and individuals.
Excellent communication and presentations skills
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Travel, national or international, may be required.
