Senior System Owner
We are looking for a system owner with special focus area to our finance and HR system; Workday.
As a system owner in Cambio, the main assignment is to hold and drive, as a part of the team, the overall life cycle management of the system, to ensure that legal, contractual, business, operational and security requirements for the system are collected, understood, and documented.
The day to day tasks consists mainly of:
- To oversee the ongoing design and drive the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance, ensuring business requirements are met. Responsible for testing and implementation of version upgrades and integrations.
- Serve as a strong consultative partner to business users and functional leaders to continuously make improvements. Support and help the organization to streamline the work, through Workday.
- Lead training sessions for new workers and oversee the development and maintenance of training materials.
- Hold the position as Security Administrator and be responsible for permissions and visibility restrictions.

About you
As system owner, you will have many contact surfaces both internally and externally, therefor it´s important that you are outgoing and communicative. Good and fearless problem solving with a long-term and proactive thinking, quality awareness, accuracy and a positive approach to the work is required. You also have a high integrity and that you care for high ethical standard. You have the capability of prioritizing conflicting demands and handling multiple tasks simultaneously in the fast-paced environment.
In your role you will support the organization in different types of assignments, which can be of very various kind so you are prepared to take on new responsibilities, which demands different level of knowledge and understanding. You also need to be flexible and to have an ability to analyze the needs of the business and to translate it into useful and quality-assured solutions.
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Demonstrated administrative experience in Workday OR SAP HR (PS)/Finance modules, including system configuration, workflow management, and user support. Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, system connectivity, and practical involvement in implementation activities
- SaaS / cloud HCM or HRIS implementation
- ERP / finance system implementation (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, cost centres, etc.)
- Business analyst / consultant role in HR, payroll, or finance domains
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following,
- BSc in Information Technology / Software Engineering / Computer Science
- BSc in Management Information Systems / Information Systems / Business IT
- BBA / BCom / BSc in Accounting / Finance / HRM with strong IT exposure
- Experience working in IT services / software companies in Sri Lanka or global captive centres is a plus.
- Prior exposure to European/Nordic customers or offshore/nearshore delivery models is an advantage.
- Excellent communication in English (written and spoken)
- High level of ownership and accountability; able to manage tasks independently in a remote setting.
