System Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled System Administrator (IT Support) to serve as the primary contact for end users, responsible for resolving technical issues across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing multiple support tickets, prioritizing effectively, and delivering timely resolutions for both local and global IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for end-user IT support.
- Monitor and manage incoming issues via the ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve O365-related issues, including Exchange, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Deploy and configure computers and user workstations for new users and hardware replacements.
- Provide support for cloud-based applications such as O365, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
- Perform local network troubleshooting.
- Deliver Level 1 and limited Level 2 support for Windows Server environments.
- Support internal business tools, including Admin by Request, Bitwarden, and other internal applications.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams (L2/L3) and collaborate with global IT support.
- Handle and resolve multiple support tickets simultaneously with effective prioritization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of issues and solutions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
Pre-Requisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support/helpdesk environment.
- Proven experience in an IT support/helpdesk role.
- Strong technical knowledge of O365, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues, cloud-based tools, and end-user devices.
- Experience with ticketing systems and a working understanding of ITIL processes.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server troubleshooting.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Familiarity with VMware, Azure, and Ubuntu environments.
- Experience using tools such as Admin by Request, Bitwarden, or similar.
- ITIL certification or formal ITIL training.
