Cambio is a software research and development center for Cambio Healthcare Systems AB, Sweden, currently with over 300 software engineering professionals in Sri Lanka designing and developing cutting edge Healthcare Solutions using state of the art of technologies to cater to our prestigious clientele.
The position
We are seeking an exceptional Development Manager to join our Research and Development center.
Role Summary
As a Development Manager, your role will involve leading one or more teams of software engineering professionals within a specific unit.

About you
- Accountability
As a Development Manager you should be able to take accountability on the overall deliveries for the unit with respect to project, product and service deliveries by showing the direction by making goals, expectations and priorities super clear.
- People management
You should be a leader who is capable of growing people to reach their full potential by recognizing them with constructive feedback while encouraging new ways of thinking and working.
- Way of Working
You should be a person who embraces the agile mindset and has the skill to identify “anti-patterns” and drive change within your respectable area to improve productivity.
As a leader you should be willing to make decisions and addresses problems at an early stage that should drive to better quality and employe wellbeing.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of industry experience within the software development industry with minimum 3 years of experience in the capacity of any of the roles such as project manager, delivery manager, software engineering manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Science, ICT, Engineering, or Management, along with substantial post-qualification experience in the software engineering domain.
- Exposure in driving leadership in Agile way of working and culture.
- Ability in leading people and coaching to build high-performing teams and individuals.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Travel, national or international, may be required.
