The Position

Cambio is expanding our organization to deliver our products as a service, and we are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer specializing in automation with expertise in application configuration management and a strong background in Java and scripting languages. The successful candidate will bring over five years of experience in automation, configuration, and tool design, with hands-on knowledge of MSSQL databases and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This role requires demonstrated leadership experience in managing small teams and simplifying complex systems through automation.

In this role, you will design, build, and operate tools to streamline environment configuration, while developing innovative solutions to enhance processes and improve efficiency within customer environments.

You will play a senior role within a global team, providing technical leadership and direction. You will focus on automating, maintaining, and supporting various tools and systems, collaborating with cross-regional teams to solve complex problems and reduce operational complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply strong technical expertise to work with diverse tools, systems, and software, driving impactful solutions and staying current with emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with the team to design and create technical solutions that address project challenges, ensuring alignment and achieving common goals.
• Guide and mentor colleagues, sharing expertise and providing coaching to enhance team capabilities and foster a collaborative environment.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and demonstrate strong organizational skills while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
• Solve complex problems and continuously improve existing solutions to optimize performance, implementing changes that enhance processes, tools, and systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java development, scripting languages.
• Proven experience in application configuration management
• Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding teams through project design, build, and operational phases.
• Strong expertise in MSSQL for data management and integration within application configurations.
• Strong expertise in MSSQL database management and integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in simplifying and automating complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with automation and RPA technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a solution-oriented approach.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience working in large customer environments.
• DevOps expertise, including CI/CD, automation pipelines, and infrastructure management.
• Application of AI tools.
• Exposure in Azure cloud platform.
